I've tried obedience training, Water Sprinkling, nothing seems to work

The Vet says the cat is addicted, and he wants to drug it.

Any alternative methods?

I went to the local animal shelter to visit the dogs and cats like I do often. Anyway, I was looking at the info about each of the dogs there, and nearly all of them were "relinquished" meaning their original owner decided they didn't want them anymore. How sad!!! Why are there so many people who don't realize the responsibility of having a pet before getting one!? I can understand if it's an issue of a baby being allergic or something.. but if it's just lack of responsiblity.. that's sad. Does anyone agree? Have comments?

I see web-sites recommend Saki-Hikari products, but they are on the pricey side. I also saw something on economical side called Azoo Koi Growth Plus Koi Food. Deos anyone have any experince with any koi growth and color products?

my fish dying molly and swordfish and am keeping buying but enough i got sponge filter i wash it second day from changing water changing 20% of water weeklyand tank monthly thermometr at 28 degree so water warm .feeding once a day soooooooo please help because i love this hoppy but fish dying keep me so sad and i dont want to give uuuuuuup

I will be going to fla and would like to take my medium-large dog with me. Is there a size restriction that you can take on planes? I know they carry the dogs underneath, but for a huge dog, do they have some kennels down there to put your dog in, or do you have to provide your own?

i have a 20 galons aquarium and all my fishis are dead, including the plecus and that one is really hard to dye. there was some little warms in the bottom and yesterday i cleaned the whole aquarium, the plecus dye last night and the last one is dying right now , whats wrong, do i need to put some extra medicine or something, some of them hade some bubbles in the body and the last two a kind of extra skyn or something like that, like jelly

I have a 8 mo Chihuahua. It is the short hair chihuahua. He has problem with hair loss. it is everywhere, on my futon, table, and my clothes. It begins since he had skin problem, and the vet gave medicine. It is already cured. But his hair start fall out.. Is there any way to prevent or reduce the hair loss??? Is it normal?? thank you so much

I have a German Shorthair and she is about 5 months old. I am worried though that she is gaining weight too fast at this stage. On Aug 28, she weighed 30 pounds. On Sept 14, she weighs 36 pounds. On Sept. 20 (tonight), she weighed 42 pounds. I know this breed reaches 45-60 at maturity, but I'm worried that she might be growing too fast because a breed like this usually stops growing over a years time. Could some of it be because she feeds at different times throughout the day. My vet recommends once a day, but we had been spreading it out throughout the day, like two or three times. Could any of this be related to weight gain. If she is fed once a day, would that slow the growth.

I purchased a fake coral for $49 at Petco. It was a beautiful orange coral color.

About 6 months later it is black and looks terrible.

How can I remove the black while not poisoning the fish water?

I think I read somewhere to use clorox but I just can't .... it seems too poisonous.

I have a fresh water tank with chiclids.

I have an English Staffordshire Terrier and everyone gets all paranoid when they see her... she is the sweetest, cutest dog in the world. I know many pits that are so sweet and playful. When I take my dog out to play with other dogs, she just runs around and plays nicely with all the other dogs. Other types of breeds are more vicious then she is. What gives?

If I put a mirror in front of my cat's face, he'll look all around, everywhere except at the mirror.
He totaly ignores the t.v.
I bought a video catnip that shows birds and squirrels running around chirping and stuff. I've seen someone else's cat actually sit down and watch one of these videos. He even took a couple swats at the screen trying to catch the birds.
My cat heard the birds chirping on t.v. and ran to the window!
I don't get it, why do so some cats respond to t.v. images and not others?
