Average would be about 14 years...You can optimize his longevity by feeding premium dog food kibbles...such as Canidae, Innova, Solid Gold, Wellness, Natural Balance...All of these are packed with good nutrition, and no fillers..
Who knows, with good food and exercise, yours might live to be 20!

Hi XXLIBAYB, I had a german shepard/huskey wolf mix.She was a beautiful dog.If my 2 girls went out side to play,She stay right with them.If someone was to get into our yard while my girls were outside,She would protect my girls.I never had to worry about my girls,As long has she was with them.She was a great dog,and loved my family very much.She was 12yrs.old when we had to put her down.She got arthritis so bad in her hind leggs,She was in alot of pain.That was the hardest thing,I have ever had to do.It still brings tears to my eyes,and a lump in my throat.They usually live to the age of 14-15years old.They are wonderful pets the mix breeds.

German Shepherd Dogs average between 12-14 years. Siberian Huskies, in my experience live around 12-16 years, and Malamutes (some call them huskies) live around 9-12 years. In all breeds, genetics or health problems can sway the life expectancy numbers in either direction.

I owned a german shepherd and she lived up to 13 yrs and they're prone to arthritis and other joint problems so to nip that in the bud early on need a diet rich in glucosamine and calcium because when joint and hip problems set in they can age fast.
