No, Not unless you can afford to care for those pups the rest of their lives. Even if you give them away if that person ever decides they do not want it you should get it back and find it a new home.
You should have her spayed to prevent her from getting mammary and uterine cancer.
You should read a book about dogs. The dog is in season or heat. She will try to get outside to find a dog. You must keep her inside and take her out to use the bathroom. This heat cycle will last about 4 weeks. The swelling will go down.
About every 6 months for the life of the dog.
This is too much trouble and it is really worth it to spay her. She is miserable and may have false pregnancy to deal with too.
So do the whole family a favor and save to get her spayed. Get her done as soon as the swelling goes down if possible. If she got bred still get it done just the same. Do not wait.
Good Luck. It is really hard to take care of a dog in season. Plus it attracts other dogs that mess in your yard and your neighbors yards.
If it costs more than you can afford. Check for a animal shelter/League of animal welfare group or Vet. that can tell you if their is a spay/neuter program in your area that will help you with the cost.
A period is something woman have that means they did not get pregnant that month.
It is a breeding season for the female dog[*****].
The puppies will have round worms and must be wormed. They may have other worms ask your vet and they need shots or they may get distemper or parvo virus and suffer and die.

Do not breed this dog. Even though she may seem as sweet as sugar, you will NOT get a "puppy just like her" by breeding her. She is a mixed breed, and can do no good for the dog world by being bred. Get her spayed to prevent any accidental breedings, and suggest anyone that was interested in a "puppy like her" to go to a shelter to find a great companion that REALLY needs them. There is no reason to breed a mixed breed just to have puppies. There are millions of animals in shelters across the country that need homes.

well being as she is a mixed breed, unless you know FOR SURE that you have good qualified responsible homes for ALL the puppies then why on earth would you breed her?!?! you cant register these pups w any reputable kennel club only the ones that offer registration for "designer" dogs so they can try to charge outrageous rices for basically mutts....Im sure your little girl is very sweet & a great dog but she is not a show dog, your not a breeder into the profession to improve the breed as she is not a breed but a mix so why bring more puppies into the world when every day 1000's of dogs are put to death in shelters & kennels due to overbreeding & unwanted pregnancies.....if your wondering if she should have pouppies due to the old wivves tale that its best for a dog to birth at least one litter before spaying them that is JUST A OLD WIVES TALE, thre is NO truth to it & in all honestly its healthier to spaay your dog, especially females to help in the prevention of certain cancers that can develope & other health complications in the uterus etc etc......pleas spay your pooch she will be healthier & you wont have that mess to deal w on a regular basis

A spayed dog is much healthier. Breeding her will not help her health.
As a rescue shelter owner, I join the others in imploring you not to bring any more unwanted puppies into the world. Sure, puppies and kittens are cute, but who's supposed to take care of them? I am crazed by the number of people in this forum who believe homes can be found for millions of puppies and kittens born each year.
Some of my associates have 60 to 80 unwanted dogs at their shelters! Can you imagine feeding them, taking care of them on a daily basis? There is one rescue shelter in Utah that has over 700 unwanted animals!
We have *just* over 30 here, and it is an ongoing ordeal to raise money to feed them and have vet care. We rarely take vacations and work three and four part-time jobs. If it weren't for the volunteers, we would drop dead. We are forced constantly to refuse dogs, as we don't have the ability to take more, and it breaks our hearts.
Please please do not breed the dog. The effects would last for a long, long time.
Thank you so much.

The only people that should breed dogs are people that are in it to better the breed, not someone who wants their dog to have puppies just for sake of having puppies. As the others have mentioned, there are so many homeless puppies/dogs/cats/kittens. Why add to it. I doubt that you would keep all of them? If not, and you do find homes for them, you're taking up the space of a home for a shelter dog that may be put to sleep. Please get your dog spayed, I don't suggest you breed her.

Please, please, please don't breed her. Why would you want puppies? There are sooooooooo many animals that are being euthanized everyday for the simple reason that there are not enough homes for them. Take a trip to your local shelter, puppies they have plenty of. Don't bring more into the world with an uncertain future. The vast majority of dogs at the shelter were adopted & then dumped there or on the street. So much for a forever home.
Please have her spayed. If you can't afford it spayusa.org can help find you a vet that will take a reduced fee.
If you love her, you will do the right thing for her.

I would not breed her. There are enough puppys in the world. The only reason to breed a dog is if they are a the best of their breed. Such as they have a good temperment, have papers, have been shown. Please consider getting your dog spayed because it will help her live longer and be healthier. I know your dog must be great but please let her be.

Do you want the puppies? Do you understand how much work and responsibility the puppies are? Do you have a plan on how to sell them if you don't want to keep them? Do you even know if there is a market in you area for a wiener dong and chihuahua mix. Just because she's in heat doesn't mean she needs to be bread. Maybe you need to have her fixed instead.

What on earth for? So you can spend lots of money at the vets? So you can endanger her life? So she can have an emergency c-section (high probability given her size)? So she can be stressed and uncomfortable?
There is no shortage of cute mixed-breed dogs. There is no need to make more.
