I've tried obedience training, Water Sprinkling, nothing seems to work

The Vet says the cat is addicted, and he wants to drug it.

Any alternative methods?

Have you tried:
- hissing at your cat when s/he attacks you?
- yelling as in much pain when s/he scratches and bites?
- when s/he attacks you, offering a toy between the attacked limb and the cat (a toy that the cat can wrestle with, that means almost of the cat's size)?
- when s/he attacks you, getting up, walking out of the room, and closing the door between the cat and you, without even looking at the cat?
- regular (daily) play sessions when the cat can vent his/her energy in a way that's acceptable to you, when you will praise her/him?

I may suggest trying some or all of these for 3-4 weeks before drugging the cat. I know sometimes medicines may be necessary, but... obedience training doesn't sound like what should be done with a cat, and I have not ever had to resort to a squirt bottle to teach my cat anything.

You may want to check http://www.perfectpaws.com and http://www.catsinternational.org for more detailed articles on how to deal with aggressive cats.

Good luck!

Too long in a cage isn't the region for an animal to strengthen sturdy behaviour.. Formal coaching starts after the animal is secure by making use of comprehensive vet injections regularly at 6 months. Shepherds attain the intelligence of a 5 twelve months previous and choose an proprietor who spends time with them. I easily sense sorry that your Husband did no longer instruct himself with reference to the desires of the two you and the dogs !!

I've had my girl for three days now (she is a six month old stray - will a belly full of kittens). I just look in her face and say no (not loud just stern) and blow a bit of air in her face. She's learning very quickly.

The thing is, you have to do it EVERY time otherwise the cat doesn't learn.

Obedience training for a cat?????? Its getting overstimulated somehow. It might need some sort of drug but I would get a second opinion.

They have sprays that repel animals from certain areas when applied. Look at your local pet store.
