We need to get our cat spayed v. soon so she doesn't have another litter but our vet won't do the op while she's lactating, and the kitten we're keeping won't stop feeding from her. As long as there is a demand for the milk she keeps on producing it, so we have to keep mother and babe apart, but for how long? The whole business is distressing - for the animals and us.

I went to Wal-Mart to check out the fish there, and I noticed some cute little pink fish they had there. There was also blue fish which looked like the smae kind of specie. They weren't Neon Tetras, they were more rounder, about maybe 1.5 inch??? I'm guessing. Does anybody know what kind of fish these are???

I have a dog that is ACA registered. What I want to know is...is ACA a "reputable" dog registration/breeding organization. Now I put quotes around "reputable" because all these dog registration organizations are out for the money....lets just be honest. I got a link to the ACA somewhere in the AKC website, so I figured it must be okay. I know there are many places like the AKC where you can register your dog and I know some are worse than others. Would it bother someone to buy a dog that is ACA, instead of AKC? I got my dog for free and she was already ACA registered, but I wanted to know if AKC or ACA really mattered which one your dog was registered under? I also wondered if I could also register her with the AKC. I may breed her in the future; I'm not sure she may not be suitable to breed because of her small size and I do care about the breed and my dog, not the money! I'm looking into all this, so just any information would help. Thank

I recently switched my dogs food to Eukaneuba and my dog has been pooing way more than before the switch. I read somewhere that better dog foods create less doo... Is this true?

I currently use a 51/2" D-Ring Regular Snaffle and I have the chance to buy a MYLER Full Cheek 5" snaffle bit-- I really want this bit. Myler bits are supposed to be AMAZING and I did my research about them and I want to try it out! Only thing is...there are no distributors in my province of the MYLER brand, so I have to buy off Ebay, and the BEST price for a BRAND NEW Genuine Myler Full-Cheek Snaffle bit....is for a 5" bit. So, is 5" that big of a deal from 51/2"? Should I go ahead and get the 5" bit or keep looking for a 51/2"????

FYI: My horse is a purebred Canadian, 16'1, big boy. (Canadians are light draft type breed if you're not familiar with them)

Thanks to everyone who's offered such great advice on kitty-rearing. Here's an interesting one: A couple friends were outside on the balcony, they got up for a couple minutes, and when they returned there were three piles of kitty poop around one of the chairs. I wasn't home at the time. And it wasn't diarreah or anything strange. Any explanations? Thanks.

He broke his leg when he fell and would not stop crying so I wrapped a sandwich baggie around his head to make him stop only I think I he died. What should I tell my girlfriend happened, I wouldn't want her to think I'm a cat killer.

I have two very large Labradors. I presently vacuum 3 times a day and I would like a vacuum that is bagless and actually removes the dog fur from the carpet on the first run. I tried the Oreck and it is a great vacuum, but for as much as I need to use it, it is impossible for me to keep buying the bags for it. They are expensive and I can actually fill one a day so that's out of the question. It's just not feasible for me to continue using a vacuum with bags.
