My parrot lets me pet her head and back - but not her belly. Is this how all parrots are?

my parrot lets me but i raised him since he was hatched. he lays on his back like a baby and i start out by saying tickle the feeties, rub the belly. He loves it and giggles. I think once they know you r playing with them they love it.

I have 11 parrots, the cockatoo is the only one that will let me pet her belly and cradle her like a baby,,,,I've tried many times...
with the other ones, but they bite me. Mariah was hand raised
from before she even opened her eye's ...I really think it might just be the birds temperament or they feel very much not in control in this position

Some parrots let you touch their stomachs but many dont. A lot of animals object if you try to touch where they feel most vulnerable. Dont push it on her...if she is happy to let you touch her head and back just stick with that.

Yup. sure can.
It depends on their mood. You can nearly train anything, although some birds are more confortable with certain behaviors than others. If they don't like it, be easy with it. Try training gradually.
Positive reinforcement training can get you unbelievable results if you learn to apply it correctly.
