i have researched it and i have all the proper materials. but i have a few questions google could not answer. ps please answereall of the questions if you know them. how soon can you tell a female from a male rabbit? how soon is a male able to mate? what should i do when my dame goes into labor, do i remove the male? do i bring her inside, its almost winter? my female is also larger than my male, is this normal? he is a holland lop and she is a lilac. should i help her give birth? will she reject them if i touch them, or worse eat them? when do they start growing fur? and lastly, what is safe for nesting materials, so she doesnt eat it or something?

I feel like I have been had by so many vets. There has to be a way to find a decent vet that isn't intirely after my money which I don't have.
No, I'm not cheep, just on disabilty and I had my animals ever since I made a decent living. I just can't get rid of them, no one will love and take care of them as I do.

The other day I had my turtle in a big pot in the middle of the kitchen table because the cage needed to be cleaned. I went out with my boyfriend and came home and fell asleep. When we got up in the morning Franklin was gone! He got out of the pot, off the table and somehow ended up under the vent by my computer. How the hell did he do that? Isn't that the most retarded thing oyu ever heared?

It's possible my female shepherd might be preganant. I understand that her charecteristics might change. Is it necessary to seperate her from the sire. He is a whimp of a dog compared to her. She is the more aggressive of the two. Also, is ther eanything I need to worry about when it comes to handeling the puppies....."mother's protection" thing. Any other information will be greatful. I got a new bubble tipped anemone 4 days ago, it looked healthy in the shops tank, once home, a few hours later i noticed a minute tear in it near the base, it swells then expells water all the time and looks 1/2 dead, water nitrites/ph and amonia levels are all normal.
The clows fish wont go near it either, is this a sign of imminent death?...shop was useless in their information,,, any one got any ideas?.... thanks muchly..Cate.

I found a turtle in a pond 1 1/2 years ago. He was inside of a plastic bag. Normally I would never take an animal from the wild but this one was so tiny and in a place where any kid could catch him. So I brought him home and he is thriving. He's grown to 4 times his original size. I am wondering if I should let him go somewhere safe. It's getting to be colder out and I don't want him to die. Will he know to hibernate? Should I wait until spring? Or just keep him forever?
If it matters, he's a basic painted turtle.

I have a new tank set up , with a charcoal filter , the problem is literaly after 2 days the smaell was terrible , after going through everything we found that the charcoal in the filter was the thing causing the smell. I was told that the charcoal was there to get rid of smells in the water so whats wrong? thanks for any help

The mites showed up about 2months ago and I have been trying to get rid of them since. The pet store told me to wipe their bodies with mouthwash on a cloth, it doesnt irritate their skin. But the mite still seem to be there and getting worse!! I am very very concerned. I have cleaned their cage multiple times, and I have taken out all extra necessities such as branches or rocks. I have left a circular and pond looking water dishes in the cage. Also a heat rock. I cleaned the cage and I have tried leaving bedding out of the cage and using newspapers like sites say to do but it doesnt work. I put new bedding in about 1 week ago after they were rinsed off, I cleaned off the watering dishes and heat rock too. I need some responses to help me rid my 1foot long ball Python and 21/2 feet long Albino Burmese Python of mites. Thank You!!!
