My Biddy loves to sit in front of the TV while animal planet is on, when a commercial comes on she'll leave and come back after the show comes back on.

My boyfriend rescued her from a lady that didn't want her - kept her in a basement with a barking dog. She has been with us since May and I work with her every day and she still seems afraid of me and kinda wild.... I love her very much and keep her beside me almost every minute I'm at home and hold her and talk to her... But I can't help think ing she would probably be happier if she could have a mate and have babies and have a normal bird life. Maybe a she would be happier as a breeder bird??? - Please don't scold me - I just want what's best for her - no matter what that is.

She's a sun-conure and about 5 yrs old.

People should look into their sources before becoming bias to one thing. If would actually read the reports on dog attacks, pits are definetly NOT number one.Actually in most cases often dog attacks blamed on pits are just classified because it may be a bulldog, or any other breed that have similarities of a pit bull. Also in many case they are mistaken in dogattacks, people just jump to conclusions, If you have never owned a pit,had a bad experience with a pit or dont realize that people take advantage of them for their strength. Shut up. Also... pitbulls do not "LOCK" their jaws.

If you are a breeder or know of one - what is the birds life like? Do they eat good? Do they enjoy clean cages? Where do they get these breeder parrots/bird from?

Hi,

a dog of a friend of mine was hit and killed by a car the other night. She's very upset, of course. The person who hit the dog didn't stop. Is there any legal responsibility when you hit a dog with your car? Thanks!

I've had my 2 yr. old female since she was 5 wks. old. she was a stray who I found up at a car wash parking lot (some man dumped her and her brother as I was later told by girl at the car wash). well anyway, since I've had her I've always noticed that when she walks her back legs kind of go to the far side of her body like she has a crooked walk. her brother didn't have this but unfortunatly I had to put him to sleep this past July because of sudden kidney failure that my vet didn't treat properly (needless to say I''m not using that vet anymore). so, I was just wondering if cats could really be bow-legged or just have a crooked walk. if so, was she born with this. I've spoken to my (new) vet they said that she's a healthy and happy cat. it doesn't bother her. I'm just curious. I luvvvvvvvv her and she's my baby!! any answers will be greatly appreciated! Thanx!!

I got my cat a 2 years old tortishell from the humane socioty 2 days ago. She is a bit overweight and she came from an abused home. Today we noticed that her eyes are leaky that she is sneezing contantly and that it seems like she has trouble breathing. The vet is closed right now in my area I am very worried for this poor cat who has been through so much in her short life. I also have a kitty that is 6 months old I don't know if this has any relevance but thought I would add just incase. The 6 month old doesn't have any of the same symptoms. Can someone help me as I am scared for my 2 year old cat. She is my baby

fighting and the bird that was originally there bloats up and his feathers start twitching. I don't know anything about birds, but my gut says this is not good. Could anyone give me some feedback as I feel bad for this bird. My sense is that the new bird is dominating and scaring the grieving vulnerable one. I want to tell my friend what I am sensing, but I thought it best to get some back-up info from those in the know first. Thanks!

My beagle has been scratching his ears for the past few days... his ears smell kind of funny too. I looked inside and it didn't look like there were ear mites or yeast. I'm taking him to the vet tonight. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be?

I am looking for a good brand of canned cat food for my cat. I've read online to avoid cat food with meat by-products in them. Is there a good brand out there that won't break the bank?

I am planning on going to college to study to be a Veterinary Technician this coming semester. I would like to know a general overview of what is done once you have job to go to after graduation. I would also like to know what schedule they keep and salary they tend to get. Just a general overview of the carrer if possible.
