i have a tank with goldfish in it. can other fish go in the tank with them. there is no heater, as goldfish do not need it, but it is regular water.

Sure you can have other "peaceful" fish with them as long as they are peaceful, slow moving and are compatible with your local water conditions (find out what they are by asking your water company, local petstore or advanced hobbyists). I hope you at least "age" your water to prevent stressing or injuring fish with every water change due to gill burn etc from the chlorine and chloramine used to treat water. On another note its best to keep the "bio load" in your tank to a minimum since goldfish produce a lot of waste and create a headache in maintennance that increases with the number of fish you've got in the same tank.

I would have to advise you that if by other fish you mean tropical fish then the answer is no.Tropicals and goldfish are enemies and do not get along.

the only kind of fish i know of that can go with goldfish are koi

no, goldfish give off ammonia and that is harmful to tropical fish

If you don't have air bubbles and a heater, I don't think you should put any with them.
