Pets - 11 September 2006

I've got a champion dog show this Friday, and I would be extremely greatful for any tips, especiallly from experienced people. I have a 18 month bull terrier, and it's mine and her's first champ show. Thanks.

heart worms in dogs and how to kill them?
i know there has to be something i can get over the counter to save a dog that cant have the expensive vet meds , i know they need to be killed gradually ,and its not my dog so dont give me the 'dont have a pet you cant aford speach'also if you answer with a guess please say so , a living inocent creature is at stake

the dog isnt the bad one here folks its the owner!
i love pitbulls, they are very smart, loyal and friendly!
i wish people would give them a chance....
repect to the rescue centers!

a few questions.
1. How do you bathe a hermit crab. The sites I've looked at just say to put him in a tub of room temperature water, but I don't know how deep it should be. (I think they can drown?)

I received a 1/4 gallon tank with two feeder fish. I went away for the weekend and my roommate informed me that they both died while I was away. The fish formed big black spots and did flips before they died. I want to clean the tank to use with another fish (just one though) but I can't seem to find out how to clean the tank. What do I need to clean the tank?

I have a deaf great dane puppy and the people who had her couldn't keep her fenced in, I have had luck so far but would it be wise to post a sign or does that sound silly? they said one dat she backed traffic up and was laying in the road with cars honking at her and yelling at her but she is deaf.

My first pitbull which I got as an adult is a female and she is 4 yrs old and was the PERFECT dog! Then, this past January I got another pitbull, a male puppy this time. He is very loveable & house trained (except when he gets excited and urinates all over) but he chews up everything(my sons toys, my coffee table and couch have been ripped up and eaten, my carpet was pulled completely up and chewed up all the padding below it). And now my older female pit has started chewing too! I have tried being stern with them, buying them chew toys, giving them lots of attention and nothing seems to work! Everytime I leave the house I come home and something is DESTROYED! I love them and will NOT give them up, but need some advice from pitbull owners on what has worked for them...I cant even take them to obediance class because they are pitbulls and that breed is not accepted! PLESE HELP!!!!
