is there a special hamster call you can create? i just read that rats can die of boredom, is it the same with hamsters?

After i give him food, he keeps miaowing; after that i think he is thirsty and i give him water, he keeps miaowing. If he wants to go for peeing or pooing i won't stop him, he is free. But almost all day miaows and i don't know what he says.

The mommas milk is almost dry but there is some left, although the kittens are not getting to eat. I went to the store and bought kitten bottles and kitten formula but they are not eating it either. they seem strong for kittens that are 8 days old so I really don't know how long they went without food, but they were locked up in a room alone and the momma could not get to them for possibly 4 days while I was at a funeral out of town. Don't know how the kittens got in the room they were in and I don't know how long the door was shut for. Can kittens survive for 4 days without food? What should I do?

A friend of mine has a poodle that seems to me is out of control? she growls when my friend goes near her food bowl and really gets aggresive if you try to take something from her. she growls and snarls very bad. my friend seems to think this is funny and does nothing to try to discipline this dog. and my friend has two young kids one of whom is afraid of this dog. i see a big bite coming very soon. but my friend says it's no big deal. she has snapped at my friend before. i'm afraid she might bite one of the kids. should i report this to animal control? this dog is extremely aggresive way beyond the norm. i know my friend may get upset but she isn't being responsible. This dog IS going to bite someone, it's just a matter of time!

My kitty, Punkin' Head has some very strange habits since she was born.. they seemed to calm down , but now that my boyfriend is away for a long period of time, she is acting out again!
First, She is obsessive about knocking things off tables or or shelves.... if I am sleeping and she wants me awake she will keep pushing things onto the floor until I get up! Also she has never Meow'd.. her mouth opens but nothing but a raspy dry little sound comes out. ... the most challenging behavior she has had since My boyfriend left is she acts as if she is punishing me when I get home from work.. she stalks me but wont let me touch her, she bites me even sometimes... which she never did before. She follows me everywhere and if I dont let her in the bathroom with me she pounds on the door! she insists that I watch her when she eats.. and watches to make sure I watch... I love her very much I have had her since I got divorced four years ago but I need to know what can make her normal

i have a a 55 gallon aquarium with 2 yellow labs, a blue mbama, rusty, 2 kennyi, and 2 cichlids i cannot readily identlfy by name but one all orange and looks like a yellow lab and the other is a yellow finned something. i have added 2 peacocks and both have been killed as well as my blue joahnni. i am not sure which fish is the aggressor or what is killing them off. my tank has been up and running for 2 months and the ph is where it should be for cichlids. are johannis and peacocks just not compatible with my other cichlids? i am new to the cichlids world. please help.

and I own two of them and what I need is negative comments you've heard, or seen on the internet. If you know of a website that has all the negative press on pitbulls please leave me the link. Surprisingly enough when I googled and yahooed it, I couldn't find one. I own two pits so this is a POSTIVE film. I just need some negative comments to counteract with facts. Thanks!

I have 4 pups, all at 5 weeks of age, and their old teeth are growing out. I know I should start prepping them for solid food because they're stealing their mom's food from her bowl (lolz and the mom's on pup food since she's still nursing). My questions is: Should I soak the puppy food in water or milk to make it softer so that the pups can start eating it? Do I soak the solid food like cereal or do I sprinkle the food lightly with water?

My over-motherly hen is sitting on 10 eggs. I am wondering is this too much for her. What is the maximum amount of eggs that a hen is capable of brooding without stressing herself out. The last thing I want is finding half the eggs are dead cause she couldn't keep them warm.
