While your dog is still a puppy it is very important to take him outside regularly. I would suggest taking him outside every two hours or every time you see him sniffing around. Once outside, if you see him go potty tell him he is a good boy and then take him inside. He will soon correlate going outside with going poop and pee. Also at night put him in a big box or something else he cannot jump out of while he is still young. He will not want to pee and poop where he has to sleep. If he does have an accident indoors, carry him to the accident put him down next to it, have him smell it and tell him a stern, "no." Then take him outside and he will see he has to do his business out there.

Keep your Pup in a bathroom with a gate. Cover the floor with newspaper. Each day remove one piece of newspaper until he is pooing on one piece and then move the last one outoors. This was a long time ago when I trained my dog but seemed to work. There may be a better approach these days?

My grandmothers just somehow trained their dogs on their own. But the latest method for people who don't have a knack for this is to crate the dog when no one is home and at night. When someone gets home and 1st thing in the morning, take the dog out to do its business. Whenever someone is home, take the dog out every few hours. He may eventually get the point and let you know when he has to go out or you just have to keep this practice going to keep your house from being a canine toilet.

know his potty schedule. when he wakes up, take him outside. when he eats, take him outside about 10 minutes later. when he drinks, take him out after wards. and reward him when he goes out side. when he goes inside...yell at him and take him outside, then put him in a kennel for a while. kennel training works really well because dogs dont like to go where they sleep. if you keep him in a kennel at night, he shouldnt go in there. and during the day, only let him run around if he recently went to the bathroom(outside at least) and be patient. it takes time. also make sure that you clean the accidents really well. if he smells it, he may go in the same place over and over again. try putting some water and vinegar in a spray bottle.

just make him go out everyday and if ur not going to take him out you have to put him in a small space where he cant poop so that he can learn how to poop and pee only outside

i think you mean poop and pee have a bell on a string on your door knob and everytime you take your dog outside ring the bell so when she gets older she will ring the bell on her own to tell you she wants to go outside
