I think you need to take him to a deserted carnival and the two of you ride the Tilt-a-Whirl until something happens.
Garbage "questions" like these aren't funny, and they're a waste of bandwidth. There are people who have legitimate questions about their pets, and those of us who are trying to help have to wade through all this cr@p to find them.

I don't know what Gernades are...or what size the dog is. My advice is to call a vet IMMEDIATELY. Get their advice. If it's a small dog, like a terrier or a poodle, and if they've already digested much of the chocolate, then your dog's kidneys and liver will probably already be shutting down. If it's a larger dog or if he just ate them a few minutes ago, then a vet might still be able to help.
Bottom line, CALL THE VET. Only they can tell you your dog's chances, or what you can do for him.

it will probably feel some nauseauted and may shake and shiver some, but more than likely the dog will be ok...you should withold food and water until tomorrow....i know this because the last 2 valentines day in a row, my dog, which is a mini. schnauzer, ate part of a box of chocolates and this past valentines day, he ate a full box...it hadn't even been opened, still in the plastic wrap and i came home and he had eaten the whole thing...i immediately called my vet and he told me to just watch him, and that he would prolly get nauseated and get the shakes, which he did, but the next day he was ok...not as active as usual, but that evening he was back to his old self...hope your dog does ok.... :)
