I want to raise some pinkie mice. And i wanted to know is anyone knew where i could find some. I have read about it and i think i would like to raise one. i know you can find them at some pet stores, but i was wondering were some people who may have snakes or geckos to feed know where to get them. Thanks..:]

First off, my dog is 6 yrs old. His is an inside dog and rarely goes outside except for the obvious bathroom breaks and play time which is usually 20-30 mins at a time @ 3 times per day.He is not around any other animals except for my other dogs who are also not around any other animals.
Ok, my dog started to cough two days ago. My brother came over and when he knocked on the door and my dog got excited and started to bark with his dog food inside his mouth still. He "choked" and coughed for about 2 mins. He was then fine. However, now he has been coughing ever since that night. He doesn't cough all the time except when he tries to bark or run. He has no obstructions in the throat nor is his stomach bloated, ect. He eats and drinks just fine. He shows no other ill effects. He is still himself. So my question is, do you think he just scratched his throat? Can this happen? Of course I start to worry and think the worst as if it is heartworm. Any help would be great. Thank you.

My labrador sleeps outside and he barks almost every night, not for a long time, but briefly.
I'm afraid the neighbors might start complaining.
He barks for good reasons, like when people are walking around by our gate, but for the people who are inside trying to sleep, it might not be good to hear.
How do I make him learn to bark less often, and only when there's REAL trouble?

I heard a grinding sound and looked at my new parakeet and saw her moving her beak. I thought that was kind of cute. It made me think that she is getting more comfortable in her new home. ??? Thanks for your help. It's been a really long time since I had any bird as a pet.

Can dogs run backwards? I know it's not something that they would normally do, and I know that they can walk backwards, but if forced into a situation would they be able to run backwards? Let me know what you think.

I have two ferrets that I have owned for awhile. I've owned ferrets for a few years now.
However, I got two ferrets last week. They are considerably larger than my first two, and very young, appx three months old.
I am wondering if it is a symptom of a problem when I pick them up and they are sleeping, they act exactly as if they are dead.
I've delivered my share of puppies, and have had to revive some, I used these methods on these little fellas, and they very slowly responded.
Then it took a couple of minutes for them to really act awake.
Its quite warm here, in the 90's, and I keep a fan on their home, its a large three story enclosure, but I'm wondering if it may be the heat that causes them to act like that. My first two ferrets never do that, but they are smaller and older too.
Its pretty scary when it happens and I am wondering if anyone has ever experienced this.

My friend has a 21 year old cat suffering from numerous ailments including an aggressive mammarian tumor. The cat is so old, her veins are no good for a lethal injection. My friend refuses to have her cat's last moment be the panic of a direct heart injection. Is there something she can get cheaply to either OD the cat at home or knock it out for the last trip to the vet? She has very little money. Web site references are helpful. Thank you.
