Is there a proper or scientific name for when dogs rattle their heads?

Like when they jump out of the tub, or wake up in the morning?

Yes, it is officially called wet-dog-shakes

Just look on google, and there are several articles written for the veterinary studies..the term used for drug induced shivers in rats, etc..is called "wet dog shakes"..
