Just recently, my dog has started barking really loudly at random times and I haven't been able to get him to stop. A week ago, he walked in on me watching porn in the living room and I kicked him on his side until he got out. I may have done damage to his chest which has caused this behaviour. I haven't had him checked yet and just last night when he started the barking. I had to wrap his mouth in duct tape and lock him in my basement. There are now heavy scratches on my basement door from yesterday. I was almost about to hit him on the head with the frying pan when I found this out. How can I control him?

My husky is very sick--took to ER yesterday morning. First vet puzzled-high enzyme count, dehydrated, bloody stool---came on suddenly. Called us--dog started to crash---we ran in and sat with her--she got better. She had gone into shock--they couldn't wake her---in an hour she was walking around with her IV. Vet says extremely small liver--not sure what is causing sickness---may be HGE--as tests ruled out many other things. Felt enzyme levels may be high due to dehydration. Vet on second shift calls us--he reviews x-rays 1st vet took---he feels she has a large growth. The 1st vet never mentioned this. He suggests putting her down. We decided to do that last night---then decided to leave her overnight to see how she is today. What do we do? She is only 6. We don't want her to be in pain---but can't believe the 1st vet didn't see large growth. We are thinking of picking her up tonight and taking to our vet tomorrow morning---but don't want her suffering tonight.
Any help?

I brought my cat to the bank Friday and the manager said I could not have a pet at the bank. I argued that it was much safer than a gun but the lady was not caring about it and told me I needed to use the drive-through.

It does not have fleas and it enjoys the air conditioning. I don't see why it's a problem. Also the cat is soft and furry and this has got to count for something...

We have had her for 18 yrs. She is strictly an indoor cat. She is slowly but surely dying. My wife says euthanize. I say she should die at home where she has lived a happy life. What do you think?

I was very busy with work and was on the computer in my home non-stop for the past two weeks. So, my cat freaked out everytime I got on the computer by meowing constantly so I could pay attention to her....if I walked away from the computer she was fine.
Now my cat has this attitude problem with me and if I pet her she trys to bite me sometimes. I am not so busy now and I want to win back her love but she is making it hard for me. Why is she like this?

I just adopted an adult akita Kato. He was just neutered and also has kennel cough. He needs to take antibiotics 3 times a day, but he has lost his appetite and does not eat.
How can I make him take his meds?
He is so miserable right now, coughing and sneezing, his nose is snotty, I want him to get better as soon as possible.

For the most part, she is house broken. We've learned her "potty dance" by now, but she still has occasionally not been able to "hold it" until I get up in the morning, which is very early - between 6 and 7 am. It's very frustrating to come down sometimes and have to clean up a mess before I even get to my morning coffee! What can I do?

one of my landlady's employees went yesterday to get a kitten for my landlady's birthday on monday, and wanted to keep the kitten here at our apartment till monday. She had brought some dry food for the kitten, but it's adult dry food, and I'm not sure if she is eating very much or if even 9 week old kittens can eat dry food. Should I go out and buy some other food. I've never taken care of a kitten this young before.

I recently removed the live plants from my 80l aquarium and did a 25% water change. The water seemed to clear up nicely after that but now ( a week later) the water appears 'dusty'. I'm worried I may have set off a'mini-cycle' in the tank. The NH3 values are 1.5mg/l (everything else appears normal). What do you think it is? What should I do ( I did another 10% water cahnge today)

I'm asking these questions because my 8 month old pup barks non-stop if we're not paying attention to her. She also can't help but to nibble at my pant leg EVERYTIME I take her outside to do her business! Her dog trainer has tried to help us fix the problems, but now this so-called trainer is saying that we better muzzle her up or get rid of her. The lady says there's no hope for this pup. We've been trying to fix this problem for a few months. Do we have a bad dog trainer or are there some dogs that just don't learn? I don't want to get rid of my dog.:(
