For the most part, she is house broken. We've learned her "potty dance" by now, but she still has occasionally not been able to "hold it" until I get up in the morning, which is very early - between 6 and 7 am. It's very frustrating to come down sometimes and have to clean up a mess before I even get to my morning coffee! What can I do?

She goes out as late as possible, there are three other people in the house and the last one in has to let her out along with our other dog, eddie who's a rat terrier. He doesn't have this problem.

Take her out as late as you can at night.
Have her checked by the vet. Animals get urinary tract infections also.

Well she does it by the door that leads out because she can't get out of it.
6 or 7 am is late for a canine.
Your simply not getting up early enough that's all.
Your girl sounds like a very good girl, she's made every effort that she can to GO OUT.
It's just that she can't, and she would probably ask, HOW CAN I GET MY OWNER TO GET UP EARLY ENOUGH TO LET ME OUT, if she could. lol
But seriously, it's just not early enough, and she tried.

Taking her out VERY last thing before you go to bed, even if she doen't ask (she will likely take the chance) will improve her chances of lasting throught the night.
Other ideas peemat in front of the door, crating her at night, moving her suppertime ealier so she can drink & "process" it

DO NOT GET ANGRY AT YOUR LITTLE GIRL!

It is not her fault her bladder can hold only so much. You must set an alarm and let her out. Her body is still maturing. Don't let this become second nature to her. Don't sleep in at her expense.
