There are many sited online that have patterns to build a dog house. Often though, it is cheaper to just buy one. The plastic "dome" ones are very durable and last forever!!! They can often be found at garage sales also.

see to it that the doghouse that you are building has a roof on it and a side cover to portect your dog from the rain

Get some lumber and a saw. Then use hammer and nails to connect the pieces. Use paint or stain to decorate as desired.
