They are in my backyard during the night, and they come to take the cat food left out.
They aren't normal rats either, I don't even know if they are rats.
One is as big as a cat, it has a white face with a long pointy nose, it's fur is brown but very thin.
There are also two small ones, about the size of regular rats but with the same faces.
If anyone knows how I can kill them (especially the large one) or can at the very least tell me what they are I would greatly appreciate it.

We are leaving for holidays next week and my puppy has just come into her first season. She is only 10 months old and unfortunatley has beaten us to taking her to the vets for the operation. I realy love her and wouldn't want her to get hurt while away by another dog. She is too friendly and ends up rolling on her back when approached by a dog, hence our problem. Does anyone know some good tactics to keep her safe and other dogs away. We are going on a boat on the Cambridge waterways so while aboard it isn't a problem just when we land.

I was always fascinated by pigeons and their beauty and now I have decided a want a pigeon as a pet for myself... before getting a pigeon I wanted to Ask if pigeons really make good single pets ?
Are loyal to their owners? Do they fly away and never come back if taken outside like parrots? I only want a single pigeon as a pet and I am not interested in keeping flocks or a large number in aviaries...
do pigeons really get attached to their owners ? do they return the love to their owners ?
please tell me all this... I am curious ..

Just went into the kitchen to see next doors cat on my avairy roof frightening the birds. After asking it politely to remove itself it stared piecingly into my eye's with no thought of doing what I asked. In fact challenging my autority! Only by staring back even harder and putting my hands on my hips did it leave. LOL.
Any more stories like this out there.

help me. our dog has been really down the last couple of days and last night he was even worse i stayed up with him all night making him drink water because he has been vomiting for 2 days.today we took him to the vet and they said it was probably parvo and gave him a water injection.however this afternoon he threw up blood and it had the most foul smell and it was alot. then tonight he did it again but it came from the other end. no vet is open right now and i really think he is dying, he wont even hold up his own head. what can i do to help him. another thing is my neighbor gave our dog chicken and pork bones three days ago and a phone vet said that it could be stuck in his intestines. can anyone give me some advice on what i can do to help him?

I have a three month old Maltese who HATES being on a leash. She firmly plants her butt down and won't move an inch. This is my 12th dog, and the first time I've ever seen this behavior. Is there a way that I can take her for walks along with the other dogs without dragging her 11/2 pound body along the sidewalk?

this is my first night with my new puppy. my daughter has a fever and i'm so tired. everyone's sleeping. i tried enclosing him in the laundry room until morning with water, bed, and training paper, but at 4 this morning, he whined soooo loud, i couldn't stand it. but he just wanted some food and a walk outiside. now what? do i put him back in the room and try to sleep? or just let him out til someone goes to work? and if i close him in again, do i just ignore his whines?

Their bellies look like they are going to pop. One had worms coming from it. I think they are full of round worms. The vet gave me a pill to give 1/2 now and 1/2 in 10 days; however, these kittens are on antibiotics and are pretty frail. Everything I've read says to wait until they are at least 6 weeks of age. I am worried about giving them this medication, but their stomachs are so distended. Any suggestions? Thank you.

These are extremely expensive medications, that I can't really afford, but want the best for my dog and cats. More of the stuff seems to go on the fur than the skin. My vet says its the best of the lot, but then he sells it!! What experience have others had with this product?
