i help stray cats and kittens all the time and the vet knew how old they were and perscribed the medication, so please use it.
their stomachs may have bloated because they're starving - the worms inside them are eating the food -- so use the medicine to kill the worms, and the kittens can start digesting their own food.
you've done so much already - please follow through

Awww that's so horrible. Poor kittens! That's so sad...What kind of vet did you go to? Seriously, like, seriously, PLEASE take them to an emergency vet. Bring the pills that the other vet gave you, like the pill bottle or whatever they came in, and the actual pills. I'm guessing that they gave you antibiotics also? I don't know where you are located, because I know a great emergency vet in California. If you don't want to actually GO to an emergency vet by you, then call these people, and explain to them whats going on, and tell them the name of the pills that the vet gave you. PLEASE do this, PLEASE, because I'm so worried about these kittens. The number is 1-951-600-9803. I think they're open all the time, but call them and explain. Maybe they can tell you what to do. Sorry I don't have the actual answer to your question, but hoping this will help.

Best bet is to use a flea comb. We recently acquired a 6 week old kitten, loaded with fleas. I did what I could with the flea comb. Went in for his shots, and I asked the vet, he said no to the spot on treatments(Advantage, Frontline), but he said he could spray him with some Adams flea and tick spray. He did, it took care of the remaining fleas real good. But, kitty was a bit out of it for a few hours from licking it...guess it has alcohol in it the vet said, maybe in combo with the shots as well I don't know. But I would ask the vet first, don't use the product without their ok. Forgot to add, I also did the bath before using the flea comb. Used baby shampoo around the head, ears, and eyes/face, and dish soap on the rest of his body. But be very very careful and not to get water in it's nose, and be sure to keep him warm during and after. Kittens that small have a hard time regulating their body heat, and will be cold after wards. I would have 3 towels handy, one for immediately drying the kitten when you're done, a dry towel to wrap him up in after drying him off, and then one that was heating up in the dryer while you were washing him, and put that over the dry towel wrapped around the kitten to help him keep warm. .

Trust the vet or they wont live ! They also need to be nurtured like u were their mother and by this i mean you have to wash them with a warm wash cloth all over after they eat and you must wipe they're little behinds as if they aren't old enough to know how to control their bowels they will get constipated and die, this how ever should not be for long as they usually can go on their own by 4 weeks or five weeks of age.

If your not sure I would ask other vets in your area. Did the vet who told you to give them the worm pills know they were on antibiotics? I would be careful if they are so that little. Good luck!!!

Give them the pill right away. They will die without it. Your vet knows best, and if this isn't treated, they'll be dead in a day or two. The pressure on their stomachs is going to crush their organs if they don't get something in order to treat whatever is causing this. It sounds like gastrointestinal stasis or something similar to it. Even if it isn't, the distention is terribly painful. They need medication, as they can't battle this alone.

Give them the drugs, the vet knows best! Besides, the risks from the medication are probably way less than that of the infection.

do as your vet says. Worms can be serious in so small kittens and are one of the reasons that they are so frail.
If you vet is any good he/she will have taken their age and weight into consideration before giving you the pills.
Give them the pills as prescriped.
