Is it true that the hermit crabs must be completely underwater? Wouldn't that drown them? And how much water should I use?

The cat followed me home and she turned out to be knocked up. I kept her as she went through this ordeal. I purchased a litter box that she used. Now that she has had the kittens she has lost all interest in the darn box and craps on my floor,I send the tramp outside but now I have to worry about fleas. Any cay lovers out there please help or she is on her way out the door.

My friend gave me a keet and said it was hand fed but this bird acts like it's not tame at all. She is letting me pet her with a feather and she eats out of her cup when I hold it up to her. I thought that was pretty good considering she won't let me pet her with my finger and won't take food from my hand. She seems sad and lonely. There were other parakeets where she lived before just not in the same cage. Should I try to tame her and/or get another parakeet? I got her 8-4-06 in the night time. Thanks for your help :)

I have a 6 month old male kitten...I noticed that when he smells my feet that he opens his mouth. He will sometimes lick your toes and feet then open his mouth too...I just adopted another kitten he is about 6 weeks old and he is doing it aswel. At first I thought it was because my feet stunk bad...but they do it when they are clean and right out of the shower...why do they do this? Are they sick?...They also pant sometimes when they play..They are both indoor male cats and don't have there shots yet. Any info would be great...thanks. :)

I was thinking about getting a rabbit and I did a lot of research. But in every guide I read, it said that I should get it neutered or spayed at the vet. My mom will never agree with the expenses. So I was wondering what would happen if I don't get my rabbit neutered or spayed.

Why did this happen? The lady at the pet store told me the catfish would get big and eat everything but even the feeder fish attacked it!

We were gone for 2 days. We have left like this before and just left plenty of food and water out for our cat. She is less than 1 year old. When we came home, she was laying on the floor and her fur looked like it had something in it (kind of matted). She wouldn't move and we actually thought she was dead. It looked as if she might have thrown up also. We took her to her water dish and got her to drink. She even ate a little but she couldn't use her back legs. Now she is up and walking around but still seems off balance. She is also walking around and meowing some as if she is looking for something. Anyone have any ideas what may have happened to her? We thought she might have taken a drink from the toilet with the freshener in it or something.

Two weeks ago I took my dog to the vet for her anal glands. This didn't give her much relief, I took her again two days ago and the vet said her glands were full again and the pain is probably generating from her lower back as she is overweight. Now she is hiding under the bed and whines and sometimes barks out in pain. She bends around when walking and keeps her tail bent to one side. She does not want to be touched anywhere around her hind quarters. I would like to know if anyone has had a similar problem and what it might be. I am looking for a different vet in our area at this time as the vet we are using didn't seem concerned about my dog's pain. Sadie is like my child and it hurts and scares me to see her in such discomfort. Any information and cure on what could be causing her pain would be greatly appreciated.

We have a male, neutered, miniature dachshund. He is adorable with a fantastic disposition. However, he is still peeing in the house and he is almost a year old. We have never had problems like this in the past with dogs.

Any advice ...is this a common thing with dachshunds?
