I had two dogs growing up, and they did this too. Yuck!!! At least it was less for us to clean up before we mowed the lawn! LOL.

Oftentimes, dogs do this when they are not getting the proper nutrients in their daily food intake. Also, if you got your dog from a pet store, your dog could have been born in a puppy mill...dogs from puppy mills are generally malnourished and have a very big potential for various diseases and illnesses. Check the nutrition label on his food. I've found that the best brand is Purina Beneful...it's what my manchester terrier eats.

Lots of dogs do it. It doesn't have a taste to them. Mine used to but we founds these pills, at Petsmart I believe, and it made their poop taste like... well, poop... and therefore he stopped doing it.

omg.... some dogs do this -- it's an anxiety thing. There is actually a name for it. You need to take him to the vet and tell them what happened. My dog started doing that when we moved, and got so sick that I had to give her antibiotics for weeks. When they do that, they can get a bacterial infection and become seriously ill.

My dog does it all the time, but this doesn't mean that it is normal.
You can get this stuff at PetSmart (or similar) that will turn them away from it. I have also found carrots to be effective.

It is normal, every dog I have ever had has done the same thing.

There is nothing that you can do to make your dog stop, believe me I have tried.

Definitely not normal. Need to consult with animal doctor or animal hospital

It happens if she keeps doing it sprinkle meat tenderizer powder on her food. she will eat her food fine but it makes the poop taste unappealling (as if it wasn't already!)

dogs do that when they're afraid of what their owner will do if he sees the poops. you scared him somehow, you need to be nicer to him.
