I wasn't impressed, it didn't supress any odor as a matter of fact it stunk. I am impressed with crystals though.

It is the only kind we use for our cat. It works great, and the only time it will turn to mush is when a large amount (say several cups) of water is added. Under normal conditions this never happens
(Children under 5 are not considered normal conditions)
As for other types of litter, avoid the stuff that is supposed to clump when the cat urinates on it. Sure, the powder drys into a large clump and you can scoop it out, it also gets on the cats paws, tracks into the floor or carpet, and drys there. It is almost impossible to remove, almost like plaster of paris made with cat urine.

I had a cat trained on it, down in the corner of the basement. I had to clean it up and it was nauseating. It wasn't especially mushy, though. I rolled everything up and put it in a paper bag. The cat didn't seem to mind, but she didn't know better.

I havent tried that brand litter but I use both everclean and feline pine. They work really well.
