My friend, Alexis, lives across the street at the second house from me... Well... she doesn't really /live/ there, but she's atying there for a while. It's either her aunt's or grandma's house...
Anyway, they have 3 dogs over there. A chow mix, a husky and chow mix, and a pure black lab... Her grandma said they want to get rid of it b/c it's so hyper. That's because they never walk it or pay any attention to it... or the other 2... They make Alexis go out a feed /their/ dogs everyday, and sometimes they forget to feed them all day. And when they do, they only feed them once a day and it isn't enough and the black lab gobbles it up in a minute.... She's skinny and you can see her ribs... So, I bothered and bothered Alexis to ask her aunt if we could go and walk them. Finally, she gave in and I actually asked her aunt, myself, and she said we could... So, for the past few days, Alexis and I have been walking the 3 dogs and my own dog a lot.

I help abused and abandoned animals and I organized a run for them. When I told my best friend about this she told me she can't do the run because she is afraid she will get very upset. She told me she would rather not hear about abused animals. She always gets upset when I do tell her stories of abused and abandoned animals. I don't understand. She has animals and she says she is a huge amimal lover but she will not support my cause because she feels better if she didn't know what happened to the animals. I told her ignorance is bliss.
I feel hurt and frankly I don't see her poinyt of view. Of course I cry too when I encounter abused animals but to know is to make a difference. Should I not be upset with her?

I have a 16 month old lab and he is uncontrolably hyper. he doenst want to listen when there are people around. i have a baby due in 3 months and im afraid he is going to hurt someone. he is 76 lbs. he wont go to his crate when told. he has recently started chewing on things. and nothing i do will knock some sence in to him.

Shes 9 years old and shes an indoor and outdoor cat. I had her since they day she was born and she means everything ot me. ITs not like her not to be around and now I am so worried. None of the neighbors have seen her,shes not at the animal shelter , and I drove around the neighborhood 10 times looking for her but shes not around. I cant imagine life without her. I know this sounds wierd but peoples animals are like their kids, friends, and loyal.

What could have happened. :( Im crying as I type this. .. sorry. she just means so much to me

I have a yellow lab and his fur has clogged my vaccume up so bad i can't get it unclogged and now i have to play car wash and vaccume my rug with a small shop vac. how can i keep this from happening when i get a new vaccume? it wasn't even the type of vaccume because i borrowed my step-daughter's and i clogged that one too! what do i do!!!!help!

Last night me and my husband were out visiting friends and we got home about midnight. I let me dogs out of the house to go to the bathroom before they came in for the night. After 20 min. or so I hear them barking. I ran outside to find my dogs killing the neighbors cat (princess). My husband was able to make the dogs let go but the cat couldn't move it just screamed. I rushed it to the emergency vet but it couldn't be saved. Saying nothing is not an option. So is it going to be as bad as I think. We just moved in and we didn't want to make the wrong impression. What would you do?
