I prefer a German Shepherd, although I also like Akita's as well! everyone has reasons why they like certain breeds. Not all breeds are for everyone! If you are thinking of getting a dog, and don't know what kind to get, read about many different dog breeds. Some people like high energy dogs,and some like calm low keyed dogs. Some require alot of maintenance, and some don't. In this world we live in today, I prefer a large dog for security. He is by my side day and night and I love him for it!

I love all kinds of dogs, but mostly my own. Have 2, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & a Border Collie/Retriever(?) mix. One was very expensive & the other was adopted from a shelter. My wife & I love them both with all our hearts.

I love Rottweilers, Shih Tzus, Boxers, Saint Bernards, Bulldogs.....those are my absolute favorites. I do love all dogs though. I have a female Rotti named Maggie Muffin and a Shih Tzu named Harley Davidson. I love them to death!

Miniature Schnauzers. They are the best. Smart, funny, athletic, loveable and cuddly, good watch dogs plus many other great attributes. As a real bonus, they don't shed!!

Hi,
Without question it's Great Danes. I have a 7 year old female that weighs 237 pds. and her parents were bigger than her. Shes my baby a fawn her dads a brindle and moms a fawn she also has two blue brothers lol

I love them all, but have a fondness for the big drooly dogs, like mastiffs and St. Bernards, and especially Newfies. I also LOVE border collies.
