I just got a new cockatiel today, and I noticed he likes music. Anyone have any suggestions on what to play him?

i have a cockatiel as well and when we first got, we played the cockatiel training CD. It will teach your bird a variety of whistles such as the wolf whistle and "charge whistle" and dixi. The CD also provides words for your cockatiel to learn, such as "hey there" " hey good looking" "pretty bird" and many others

i believe the CD is only 10 dollars and so worth it. it should be available at any pet store if not there try another store where they sell CD's and if you can't get it there try online.

In my experience, cockatiels like classical music and will try to imitate the sounds.

Whatever you play, make sure it's something you don't mind hearing him repeat back to you all the time.
