Do they know whats going on? Like if I take my cat to the vet, the next time will he remember that he's going to the vet?

Yes. Cats, like human beings, have the ability to store information. That's why you can toilet train cats, and that's why they do respond to their names, and actually show that they understand what their owners are telling them.
Also, cats are known to be extremely sensitive and intelligent creatures, so yes, your cat does know what is going on, and will remember the trip well enough to associate certain smells, environments and people with the vet.

Positively. What makes them remember is the anxiety of the vet's office, shots, exams, etc. Wait till it comes time to corral the cat to take him to the vet and you'll see.

Yes cats have a very good memory.
Spencer knew that if I put ham in a cat carrier, it ment going to the vet.

Yes I do believe they are intelligent enough to recall a trip to the vet's. Try to keep the kitty comfortable before and after.. treats and a calm voice while traveling works for me.. Omit treats if vet has instructed you to.

yes he will, just like when i almost shot my cat with a squirt gun she runs away when ever i take it out
