You cannot give pink eye to a hamster, but you can get it from not washing your hands after handling the hamster and touching your eye. Pink eye is a generalized term referring to any infection of the eye.

there are some diseases that are transmissible from human to hamster. Ask your vet (human doctors usually don't know didlysquat about stuff like this)

i dont know about pink eye specifically but yes they can. if u have a cold u shouldnt handle them. im guessing pink eye since its a virus might pass to them so id stay away. if u have to clean/feed use gloves and clean your hands with anti bacterial soap.

suprizingly yes, hamsters can contract human sickness.to prevent this don't handle your hamster until completely uncontaminated and even when you arn't wash your hands before and after handiling your hamster for 1-2 weeks after.

i went to my doctor for pink eye and i asked her if i could of gotten it from my dog.(she had it and i was the one putting the medicine in her eye) and she told me that's probably where i got it.she said animals are a lot like humans but there medicine is different.

hamsters can catch human cold virus. other then that, i am not so sure.
