I'm thinking getting a pug, but I just wondering if pug is kind of clean dog or dirty? is he drools?
What is a price to pay for a puppy pug?

They are pretty clean for the most part. They don't really drool, but they do pant when they are hot.
Pugs shed a lot though. You have to brush them a few times a week to control the shedding.
Pugs vary in cost. Try getting one from a pug rescue organization or animal shelter. Otherwise, you can expect to pay up to 1000 for a well bred pug. Make sure to do your research on any breeder and don't buy them over the internet without checking out the facilities.

Pugs are wonderful little dogs. They will do anything to please their owner. I bath my pug once every few months, and he doesn't stink at all! He does shed fur once a year though, 365 days a year! lol *That's a joke* They don't drool. They snore and snort and pant. Many people think they're unintellegant, but that is very untrue. They can be very stubborn, and extreemly food motivated. Meaning, you can get a pug to do anything for food. www.pugnaround.com www.pugstories.org www.pugvillage.com and www.pugs.com are all fantastic websites to look up pug info on. I have been a proud pug owner for 2 years and am thinking about adding another one to my household. He does fantastic with children. They're very loyal to their owners, and just a lot of fun! I'd suggest to go read up on them before you get them. They can be a lot to get into... Such as health issues and things like that. They were bred to be companion dogs, and all they want to do is please. All in all I think they're great dogs... Their only downfall is health issues.

I had a pug and it was quite easy to take care of. I'd say it's a fair choice for new dog owners.

They are clean as far as dogs go, but they do shed hair a lot. They don't often drool, but they do snort and snore and make a lot of snuffly noises because of their brachycephalic nose, which can be pretty annoying.

Pugs can run anywhere from $300 to over $1000, depends on if they are purebred or from a pet store or breeder.

They tend to smell a little, have skin conditions, eye problems and diplasia. I love mine to death but he costs me alot of money. Good with kids, protective, one owner dogs. GIve him only lamb and rice, bathe in moisturizing shampoo.
