How do you get your pup to stand still so you can brush her?

My 7 month old golden retriever goes absolutely snakey when she sees me pick up the brush. She spins circles and bites at the brush and flops all around. I think she likes it but it makes it hard to brush her.

What's wrong with Sooty!!!!?

My cat Sooty always poos in a certain spot on the bathroom floor anyway lately I have noticed dark red blood through it and it's not a solid poop its all sloppy.
She has been like this for a few weeks, what's wrong with her?

and do u have a dog? i HAD a black lab... now i have a german shepard... not sure wat my favorite is. although, 2 b honest... its either gotta b german shepard or husky because they are the closest related dogs to wolves

elizabethan collar?

My dog has a huge hot spot that isn't healing because he keeps licking/biting at it. I've never used an Elizabethan Collar (E-collar). Would he be able to sleep/nap while wearing it?? Is it a total pain in the butt??

my cat's nose became white? and that meeeeeeeeeans?

her nose was originally a pinkish. I mean, she did change environments (i just got her a month ago). What does that mean? I was reading a question here posted about cat nose color. But only one person mentioned that her cat's nose was of a white color. Well,, anyways anybody knows what's the reason for her nose turning white?

i have a 6 week old boxer that had got some kind of gas type illness that did not let her eat.?

i have tooken her to the vet and have gotten medication. i have been feeding the res of the puppies NUTRO. what can i feed the female to gain some fat and weight on here . she is skin and bones. no ignorant answers please. to many of those. it shows who the ignorant people are!

Easier and faster way to get rid of ticks?

I offered to dog sit for friends who are moving and are inbetween houses so they have no where to keep their dog. He was at the boyfriend's sister's house but they left him tied to a tree outside in the back yard. (I am in Phoenix and today was 118). The dog is a shepard mix with medium to long length fur. Well when they brought the dog over here he was infested with ticks. I have him in the bathroom because I dont want them in the house or him passing them to my dogs or cat. Well I cant leave him outside its too hot and it gets too hot in this particular bathroom so I need to find a way with either some sort of liquid or something that doesnt cost a whole lot to get rid of these ticks. I dont have the time to sit and pull them out one by one. My intentions were to shave him and then bathe with whatever. I dont have a lot of money so I cant buy a dip from the vet for 30 bucks and I cant take him to the groomer for 60. Any ideas out there?

my baby died?

my baby got hit by a car and died. i hate living life without him. i can't get another cat, it's just not the same, nothing and no one can replace him. i'm so depressed without him, i had him for 8 years. i guess i don't really have a question, i'm just heartbroken.

does the dog know or not know 10 seconds later?

seriously. when the dog goes potty inside when you are gone and you come home. I think my dog does i don't get on to her I will just pick it up. but every single time she has ever made an accident in the house(not that often) and i come home the only way i know she did anything is becuase she is shaking really really bad and crying, i don't even notice it untill i see her do that. it don't happen to often and a question made me think of it. do you think they know they have done something bad? your opinion

We just got a kitten today and we already have 2 dogs...?

The dogs want to check her out and play with her but the cat just hisses when they come into the room...The cat is the sweetest little thing she just isnt sure of the dogs. How can I get them to live together and get along?
