A cat could be left alone for 3 days, but if it were my cat, I would have someone check in on the cat once or twice while you are gone. Just to make sure everything is okay and to clean the litterbox if needed. Just make sure to leave plenty of food and water out.

Yes, it's ok. Cats are usually not as dependent as dogs but he will still not like you leaving. As long as he has plenty of food and water he should be fine. I've left my 3 cats for 3 days and they were absolutely ok. I left two big bowls of food and water and they had a nice buffet. However, if it's the first time you're doing this, your cat might get a bit depressed since he won't be sure you're coming back. But again, he should be fine. Good luck!

Not a good idea. Especially in this heat wave! Leave them lots of clean water and kibble, but have a friend or neighbor stop by once a day to check on them (and scoop the litter box
). Cats can get heatstoke just like humans, and they can't just pant out the excess heat like dogs.

It should be ok to leave your cat as long as it has plenty of food, water, clean litter, and a comfortable room temperature. If possible, try to get someone to look in on your cat.

Just make sure the cat can't escape and that it has LOTS of food and water. When I leave for a few days, I leave massive amounts of food and water. They never eat it all, but I'd rather go overboard than have poor kitty starve!

Yes cats are pretty self sufficient. Leave lots of food and water and clean the litter box before you leave because it will be full when get back.

I don't recommend it, but cats are pretty independent. Leave plenty of water and leave a faucet dripping as well.
Leave plenty of food (no wet - it can rot & give the cat food poisoning).
Leave a timer to turn lights on & off and if at all possible, have a friend or neighbor look in on your pet.
Your cat is safer at home than if he/she were to travel with you -- there's a big chance of escape.

If you put out enough food and water, put out an extra liter pan, and make sure you leave the a/c on, it should be fine. You might also want to leave a radio or TV on too. If possible, just give some one an extra key and let them come by and check on it.

have someone come over once a day to clean the litter box and put out food and fresh water and play with them. I just got back from being gone for 4 days we had our landlady take care of our cats while we were gone.
