Looks like a watermelon seed. When it's filled, looks like a rounded watermelon seed.

Gross! They start out small, and then get bigger as they feed more. I would guess that it has been on your cat for a while, and decided to relocate to a different part of the body. Lucky you caught it when you did, cause it is kinda a pain in the *** to get a tick off that is already stuck itself to the animal.

I've heard that they are the size of the head of a pin. Save the tick if you can by putting it in a plastic bag with a wet cotton ball inside. Then you can take it to the vet and have it tested for lyme disease. Good luck!

If it's small and hasn't eaten yet they look flat. and if they had some of your cat's blood it can be the size of a corn nut. Big give away is if the tick buried its head in your cats skin and all you can see is the little legs flapping about ewwww.

Ticks are usually pretty small, smaller than a dime. You would know it's a tick because it would be really hard to kill.

Ticks can be as small as a pin head or as big as a penny.

Did you know ticks can go for years without eating. That's why they drink a lot of blood and get big.

It's kind of a red color, and very tiny...Like a pinhead...Take the tick off your pet; if it gorges on his blood, he could become very ill, and so can you...Some people use a match to disengage the tick...
