Is it true that dogs need passports to be in a plane or something like that?

I haven't heard of a passport for a dog, but to ship an animal overseas (including Hawaii) they have to have had blood work sent (somewhere or other) and they have to have all their shots and they get quarantined for a period of time.

It's a nuisance. I guess the authorities think the animal may have had rabies while it was running around your house and you didn't notice.

Yes, look into it or you won't be able to travel with your animals. If you're travelling within the same country it's okay, but if you need to take them abroad there are all kinds of vet checks and paperwork and possibly quarrantine to go to another country.

And YES they ARE called PASSPORTS!

No...passports are reserved just for humans..They probably need up to date immunization records though.

They need a health certificate from you vet saying they are healthy

oh ya. I took my dog once it was experience. And make sure that he's in a cage
