My first question is that is it allright to use fruit loops as a reward treat? And my second Question is that is it normal for a dog not to listen to your comands but watche's (and obey's) hjand gestures?

We had an Alaskan Malamute with behavior problems and were forced to put her to sleep. We loved her dearly but she started growling at our kids for no reason. We cried for days when knew it was going to happen. We told the kids that we gave her to a doctor that can help with her mental problems. My daughter had been asking for a new puppy for years and we've been telling her we'd get her one for her birthday. It really excited her and she said she knew it wouldn't be the same and she would still miss Angel. So we bought a completely different looking dog (A GoldenDoodle) and my daughter is so happy. My husband and I know the truth and we feel like horrible people. Are we so wrong?

My kitten is 4 months old and my cat is 9 years old. He keeps eating my cat's food, I guess he doesn't like his Science Diet kitty food. Is it too soon to give him regular adult food? I don't want to do it, but is it harmful?

I know its part of the natural process of a dog, but this year it seems to be the worst ever! I routinely brush her, give her vitamin E, and teaspoon of olive oil daily.

When we left for Atlandtic City, all was well. But when we came home, The trashcans were knocked over. The table coth was off the table, there where emtpy food cans everywhere, and my favorite bowl was knocked over! What do you think YOUR cats do when you are away! Oh did I metion I have 3 cats!

I have a 6month golden retriever and her nails are getting really long, and we have a dogs nail clipper,but every time we try to cut it she eithers pull her paw away, or try to bite us, and what is the easiest way to cut her nails with out hurting her and without her pulling her paw away??

I got my sweetest doggie ever, Rocky at the humane society about a year and a half ago! Sadly i went on vacation and left him with my grandfather and he got into squirrel poison! I have never had a dog that loving and not to mention sweet with my 6 mth old daughter! I'd like to get another dog like him problem is i dont know what kind of dog he was! Please help me! On the webbing of my cat's paws, it's dark brown/black. We initially thought it was an infected wound and brought him to the vet for it. It never went away, but doesn't seem to bother him. Now it has spread to another paw, so I'm assuming it's some sort of fungus. The vet reccommended we treat the paws with Lamisil. Has anyone else had this problem with their cat?

whenever my cat and the neighborhood stray get in a fight, the stray always whoops up on my baby and my baby always backs down. My baby is bigger and stronger than the stray but he always gets beaten. My baby's always been the dominant one, til this stray came alnog. My tank is FILTHY. I used to clean out the filter everyday. My light is on a timer and is not on for more than 8 hours a day. There's just so much algae and junk in there. I've taken out all the live rock before and sifted the sand, but it seems too tedious, but i've seen tanks that just work on their own. i have snails and crabs. any suggestions?

I know Hemmingway thought that 6-toed cats were lucky, so what are 7-toed cats?

I ask because I just got a beautifull kitten with 7 toes on both his front paws and want to find any meaning/superstition regarding it so I can come up with a suitable name for him.
