I heard that shaving a gerbil makes it happy and friendly. Is that true?

first of all, good luck trying to shave a gerbil, second if you actually succeeded, he is only friendly because he is FREEZING his little a$$ off and holding him keeps him from dying of hypothermia. If I were you I would not test this theory, it might be misconstrued as cruelty.

Uhm
Who told you to shave a gerbil?
I would think it would make the gerbil nervous and not trust you. Weird thing, shaving a gerbil... I'd like to know how this conversation came about!

i imagine you need to change bedding even inspite of the actuality that your hamster has been on it awhile and remains in sturdy well-being you are able to by no skill be to careful. i'd advise care sparkling or a more cost-effective option aspen timber shavings. i imagine female gerbils are friendlier and have a tendency to do more suitable useful in communities. i does not advise a bin cage as gerbils actually chew each project and a a plastic bin cage is soothing that they could like so i project the superb housing for gerbils is a tank crammed with 5-7 inches of bedding and a tank topper. wish i helped.
