Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL14w

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

You take and put your puppy into house hold 1, or puppy classes.
To train him to sit, you tell him to sit, if he doesn't sit, then push down on his but until he sits, then give him a treat and tell him good boy, good sit. Good luck.

Click training is the fastest way. Go to PetSmart or PetCo and get a clicker. Get your dog accustomed to it by clicking it and giving a treat every time you click it.

Show him what sitting is by pressing your hand on his backside and gently moving his rump to the floor. When their rump hits the floor in a sitting position, click the clicker, reward them with a treat and say good boy! Continue to do this until the dog sits on his own, clicking and rewarding.

Introduce the command "sit!" and click and reward when he does it. Eventually, you won't need the clicker or a food reward- just the praise.

I clicked when my dog flicked her tongue and now when I say "kisses" she flicks her tongue and gives me 4 kisses. You can learn more tips and tricks by enrolling your pup in a training class such as they have at PetSmart.

sit down is the finest command to coach, simply by the indisputable fact that's a organic habit for a canines. basically stand/kneel in the front of the canines. carry a take care of in the front of that's nostril. bypass your hand with the take care of above and in the back of the dogs head at the same time as pushing down on its flank. at the same time as the canines begins to get the concept and sits on that's own as you bypass the take care of ove that's head THEN supply the action a acceptance "sit down". that's the action of the canines looking up and back as you bypass the take care of over that's head that motives the canines to sit down down.

hold a treat in your fingers.. hold it in front of your dogs nose and lift it up and back, so his head looks up and back... he will be forced to sit to get at it.. then give him the treat and say "good sit!!!" do it again. keep doing it until he can sit on command!
