On a Murray push mower, model 22541X92D. there is a spring that is attached to the throtel linkage, with the other end attaching to the choke/ governor. This end resembales a paper clip. My question is , what does this end attach to. At present it is on a loop found in the middle of the governor linkage., but this does not work the choke properly.

We had a toilet leak that went through to the basement ceiling. What is the average price for a contracted carpenter to come over and replace a small bathroom floor? (There is a bath/shower in this bathroom as well... does that matter?)

I'm having to upgrade some things at my mom's mobile home, now that she's passed away. I have a price from a local plumber, for $560 - that is for 2 new toilets, fixing the sink faucet in the master bathroom, the shower head in the master bathroom, and the shower head or handle in the guest bathroom. The mobile home is over 30 years old and lots of the pipes and things are in need of replacing. I don't think the fact it is a mobile home should factor into the labor rate, but then I don't know. The toilets I'm getting cost about $125 each or so. But it sounds like the labor might be a bit high.

Anyone really know what the plumbing labor rate is? This is for a private plumber, not a Home-Depot or Lowes install.

I asked this question a few months back and the most popular answer was to put an ice cube in the indent overnight and it would be fixed the next day. I have tried that over and over again and it's not doing anything. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks.

I think it gets really cold when the AC kicks on so I often turn it up so it will shut off. Why do guys get so mad about this? It may sound crazy but I dont put it down past 79 bc it gets too cold in the house when its on :o)

The oven is supposed to be self cleaning, but I don't want to do it that way because I don't have the manual. It's an old Kenmore and I don't know the model number. Can I used Easy-off oven cleaner and do it the old fashioned way?

My wife and I are planning to moved into an old apartment with small paint chips falling off of the bathtub. There is also some peeling paint behind the radiators. There is still time to back out if the landlord refuses to do anything about it. Should we be worried?

to fill the tank doesn't kick in for about 15 minutes sometimes, most of the time about 8 minutes, so you can never flush it two times in a row. We replaced the float and all parts inside with no success. Any ideas.

My dang window A/C stinks like wet stinky feet! I mean it really stinks up the whole room. I dont want to shell out tons of money for someone to fix it nor do i want to shell out a ton of money for a new one. The problem actually started happening a few days after we got the thing last year. It's a frigidaire. Some days the stink is worse than others.

Things I have tried:
- spraying bleach into the intake (makes the house smell like bleach for a while)

I guess that's all i've tried.
Help! It's hot outside.
