The large room in the back of my home has 4 wall plug in outlets. Two of them have surge protectors with a computer, lamp, tv, stereo and an xbox 360 hooked up between two of them. Then the third one has a window A/C unit. The 4th plugin outlet, which is the main one to the circuit has nothing at all plugged into it. The room has worked fine for about three years. Up until recently (the last week or so...) The power to the room has been cutting out completely. We changed the main plug in and it seemed to work fine for 2 days, and then it cut out again. It seems when the window unit runs, the one that has nothing plugged into it, gets very hot. Then the power cuts off. I know it is not overloading because it has worked fine for years. For now I just unplugged the winow unit and everything is working fine. Why would it just now overload?? If that is the problem. Or could the winow unit just be too old?? It is driving us crazy. The window unit is what keeps the back room cool. Suggestions

3.5hp Vert shaft, primer button. engine runs only few seconds-no smoke, no rattles, weakens & stops (sometimes with a backfire). Modest compression pre & post. Cleaned tank & carb, was dirty, diaphram looks undamaged-no splits/creases-two flap tab valves(?) 1 flat, 1 angled, main jet filter easily (re)moveable-(poor design?), main jet passes air (can't remove), motor throttles up & down when heavily primed, new 98 RON-plently, oil ok. plug clean seems ok, as it starts well after prime, air filter cleaned. elect ign type. No choke plate in plastic carb. V long re-inflation time for prime button-mounting O ring ok, no real change. ???

My drip pan in the attic is full and is dripping down the pipe that runs into the garage. I just moved into this house a couple days ago and noticed that someone turned my AC down to 60. Most likely my Dad when he was hot one night. It was on 60 for at least 2 days. I just noticed the water today. What is the possible problem? What do I do? How much will it cost?

I have an in-sink-er-ator sink disposal. When we flip the switch, the thing hums, but nothing more happens. I have used the wrench it came with to crank the bin loose, but it wasn't stuck, it turns freely. Is there anything else I should try on my own?

The cold water runs to the shower and the sink, but only works in the sink. I don't know what's up.

I am sick of receiving bids for $25,000-40,000 when there is absolutely no reason for it to be that high! If you are a professional sider who would be willing to guarantee your work and do it at a very fair price, please send me a message with your bid. I do not want the bottom of the line siding and I know I can purchase it myself for much less than what I would pay for a sider to purchase it. I am strictly asking for someone to come in and do the job, and do it right!

We have a 3,000 gallon (plastic blue) quick-set POOL and we just moved to the country. My husband is telling me we can't set up the pool this summer because it will drain our well? Is this true or is he just being his usual "fun" self?

I am doing a project for work that involves cutting a tankless water heater in half and I need to seal it back together to flush water through it, possibly at a semi high pressure.

I then have to be able to seperate the two parts again without destroying them.

Should I use a gasket or some kind of sealer?

Thanks!

In my HDB flat's kitchen, there is a foul smell which seems to be coming from the drainage on the floor right under my kitchen sink.

The sink has been leaking and so the floor is often wet. The leaked water goes to the opening of the drainage there.

Q1: Who would be the best people to call to solve the problem?

Q2: And if I were to solve it myself, what should I do?
