There's the long cord that came with it and that little eagle topper that inserts into the top of the pole, and of course the flag has eyes for the cord at top and bottom, but everything came undone during our recent move. It seems that the complex series of loops and knots not only kept it on the pole but made it behave and wave beautifully in the breeze without getting wrapped around the pole.

Help! I have bowling shoes that are only a little over a year old. The slide on the left shoe is very worn and needs to be replaced. OK, so HOW do I do that?! I cannot for the life of me find a proshop that does this repair. I see the replacement sliders on line, but how does one do it? Does the slide peel off? Scrape off? Brush off?! Please let me know! Thank you!!! I'm so frustrated!!:(

I just purchased a new home and it has a 13% Radon level in the basement. The seller is doing a radon mitigation to fix the problem. So my question is does radon mitigation get rid of the radon completely and/or stop it from coming in?How does this work exactly? After the radon mitigation are we safe? Are there things that I can do to prevent this? The basement has no door so i know it can seep up to the upstairs of the house as well. The house also has forced air upstairs pulling the air up. I have a 6 year old and we plan to live there for 5 years. Will we be safe from it or is there anything else I can do?

Is it expensive to fix water damage to concrete foundation of a house? I am purchasing a fixer-upper, that has a full basement and some damage to the foundation(mainly under the basement window areas) You can tap into the walls and the water damaged areas of concrete just fall out. Can I just knock out the damaged areas and relplace with new concrete? The problem was there was grass all the way up to the foundation on one side of the house, replaced by concrete about 7 years ago.

I was filling our new vinyl, above-ground pool today. When it was almost full I added pool shock and turned on the filter (which has a chlorine dispenser in it). An hour later I noticed the pool had a green tint to it. Everything I've been able to find online talks about algae, which obviously didn't form in a few hours. What could cause this tint?

My grandma has an AC in Palm Desert, CA where it gets ridiculously hot during the summer.
She went out there and it wasn't working so she called someone and they put some freon (I'm not sure how to spell it) and then it worked. The guy told her she would need to replace it. I want to go out there but its too hot to stay without an AC. What are the chances of the AC working.

Tried to start, it did, but when put in gear it would just die. It done this repeatedly. Can or will it just dry out if left in the sun? Is it ruined? Is there some way I can get it running again? I am female and not really repair savvy. Thank you for any help that you can give.

If you need a 1"x7.5" cedar plank you would have to buy the 1"x10" not the 1"x8" (which is about 1"x7.25"). The leftover strip is essentially waste. That's a screwed-up measurement system!

My bathroom receptacle has been working fine but when I went to plug the blowdryer in this morning it would not work. I knows its not the blowdryer because it worked in another room. The problem is none of the receptacles in the house has a reset button so what else can I do?? The lights in the bathroom are working fine.

It doesn't make any funny noises, or anything else abnormal. It is just VERY HOT when you touch the outside sides of the refrigerator. I'm just curious if this can be serviced. Does this indicate a specific function that can be performed, for instance refilling the freon? I also would like to know if this heat is causing it to cost more to run. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
