Maintenance & Repairs - June 2007

I just closed on a house this week and upon moving in I found out that none of the outlets in the kitchen or in the first floor bathrooms are working ... however the built in microwave and fridge are running so I know there has to be electricity running ...

I have tried to reset using the "Test" and "Reset" buttons but so far nothing ... I went down to the basement to see if any circuits were tripped and nothing ...

Does any one have a clue as to what my problem could be and how long/expensive it would be to fix?

Much appreciated!

At what temperature do you heat the steel? How long do you heat the steel? At what temperature do you cool the steel in oil or water? How many times do you repeat the process?

I'm in the UK, I bought it in France & it never occurred to me it'd have a 2-pin plug. So can I change it to a 3-pin, and what about the earth? Aren't their appliances earthed? I've tried to find an adapter, without success. Enlightenment needed, thanks!
