I have four surge protectors to protect one PC they are connected the following way:

Wall -> Protector 1 -> Protector 2 -> Protector 3 -> Protector 4 -> PC

Information::

>Protector 1
Name: Belkin SugeMaster Gold
Current: L-N : 30,000 amps, L-E : 30,000 amps, N-E : 15,000 amps (total 75,000 amps)
Joules Rating : L-N : 1080J, L-E : 1080J, N-E : 540J

>Protector 2
Name: Belkin SurgeStrip E-Series
Current: L-N : 6,500 amps
Joules Rating : L-N : 558J

>Protector 3
Name: PowerStar Protector
Current: L-N : 10,000 amps
Joules Rating : L-N : 75J

>Protector 4
Name: Panora UPS
Current: L-N : 10,000 amps
Joules Rating : L-N : 125J

I'm wondering if this is enough to protect my PC from a surge caused by a lightning strike near by. The wall outlet has its own ground wire (its only 10m long) as well as the normal house ground wire and both are grounded by 6 feet coper poles. All the protectors have either fuse or terminal fuse cut offs.

L = Live, N = Neutral, E = Earth

Thanks.

and she had a serious roach investation problem. Well, now that it is summer we have been spending alot of time in the back yard, and we just put some FLOURESCENT bug lights in these sockets out there. We have know Idea the last time those light sockets were used, the bulbs that were in there were dead. So we put the light in a flipped the switch, they took a few seconds to come on, and then when they did, they started flickering. What do you think the problem is. Is it that they havent been used in such a long time. I s there a short in the wires that could cause an electrical fire if we use them..some suggestions or insight would be helpful.

My porchlight has nerver worked since I moved in. I decided to fix it, assumed it was a lose wire on the switch. Upon removing the plate cover, I see that the porchlight wiring in not conected to the switch at all, and all three wire from the porchlight are bundled together with a wire cap. My problem is all three wire are the same color (Beige) and the same size. How to I know which go to the hot side of the swich, which is the neutral, and which is the ground? They all look exactly the same. And I have a new light switch with 3 screws for wires on it, and the old one only has 2 screws. So on the new switch, which is neutral, the top screw, or the bottom screw? And which is ground?

They are wood and have some kind of finish on them. I noticed they are beginning to show fingerprints from the chairs being grabbed by the back a lot to move them around. I'm afraid to use soap and water. Don't want to wreak my chairs. But their must be a way.

Our A/C keeps shutting off. We got a new outside unit put in a year ago. The inside unit is probably 10 years old or more. The outside unit runs fine, but air does not blow out of the vents. We have to turn off the thermostat, restart the thermostat and it will restart, then kick off in 5 minutes. Any clue what I need to do? Thanks in advance.

I'm getting all this back up of semi-clear water shooting up my drain. Liquid Plumber and plunger work isn't doing anything. This happens when I'm not even at the sink. Could my neighbor's drain water be shooting up my drain? Any specific suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 4,000 sq foot home with 2 25 gallon water heaters that are hooked up in Tandam. When one blew a few years ago the plumber said just do two, so you will have plenty of water. I was thinking about getting rid of both of them and getting a tankless water heater, but I understand that with purchase and installation, it could run $2,000 or more. Is it worth it?

I need to replace the diverter stem but the place where you put the wrench to turn the old one out is rounded off and I can not move it. Do you know any tricks? Is it taken out by turning counter clockwise? Would applying heat with a torch help or hurt. What tool would work best? No, I do not have any dynamite! This is one of those frustrating things that should be very easy but turns out to be a pain in the you know what. Thanks for any help!

My ryobi batteries will not charge. I have three, one is good and two I left on the charger for a few days plugged in. Is that bad for the batteries or charger? Now the green light with the yellow light comes on, never charging the batteries. Are the two batts bad, or could it be the charger?
