Did he actually fix it ? If not tell him you paid to have it fixed. Biggest crooks are repair service . You Have rights as a consumer and if he didn't fix it then he needs to or give you back your money.
Go to the Better Business Bureau on line and enter his name to see if there are any derogatory remarks. Nothing makes me more crazy than someone that takes your money but doesn't do the work.

Welcome to the Better Business Bureau

Find the one nearest you
type in BBB and include you state or city & state.
Why do I say this too many people are ripped off every year by unqualified service repair people.
Figure it out he said he fixed it and it still don't work.
Good Luck!
I finally got a belly full of being ripped off.

There are approximately 5 issues that could pass incorrect with a freezer or a frig. i've got self belief the refrigerator and freezer have the comparable lines of freon and compressor. the project could probable then be the thermostat interior the refrigerator. Like somebody else stated supply the refrigerator section some hours to work out if it cools down. and don't in elementary terms stick your hand in it, positioned a thermometer in it to make valuable.

Set your freezer control to a low setting. It is only a little door
that closes off and robs the cold from the fridge side when you select freezer. colder. If that doesnt work - go to appliancequickfix.com and read all about it.

Have you called GE about this problem??? I had the exact problem with my side-by-side and called my warranty co. who in turn found out my model was in a class action suit and there is a huge recall on them. GE sent out their own service techs and practically replaced everything and there was no charge.

It could be a more things . The evaporator could be dirty, which I would have checked and the fan motor could either be dirty or not operating properly. It is a dirty evaporator. I get calls for air conditioners that have the same symtoms.
