How much does a breaker box cost to put in a old house. That has a fuse box.?

If you have a 100 amp service the you will need to do what is called a "heavy up" this will give you a 200 amp service (witch is the new standard) and a new breaker box. That will run you about $1,500.

It really depends on the load and the service line coming into the house, the cheapest you can expect to pay is $500.00

It depends on where you live. My electrician in a rural area quoted me $800. Here in CA it would be in the 1000's.
