You didn't mention what size the pipe is. If it is small, you may be able to use a die, but bigger pipe will require professional equipment such as a pipe threading machine.
Some hardware or home stores will thread pipe for a small fee. If you have a Home Depot or Ace Hardware or such nearby, you might give them a call and ask. Also, good dies are expensive and a cheap one will not last on Stainless Steel.

With a pipe die of the correct size. When I worked on jobs that had stainless pipe, we used water instead of cutting oil. It worked but I still feel more comfortable with oil.
