keep the tank closed, then go to a dump sight to empty every few days or as need be, then rinse the tank well with a garden hose or a hose you get from the r.v. store. then close the tank again. add a good septic chemical to the system each time. there are many good brands sold at r.v. stores and even walmart carries a few. i am assuming this lot in question does not have a sewer drain? in any case it is always a good idea to treat your system in this manner, never using the hard drain at all. solids have a tendency to hide in there and will eventually build up, plugging your system if you are not careful. the only time i would connect to a sewer system at all is with a hard connection such as p.v.c. just like a mobile home on a permanent basis. so avoid any head aches, regardless of what others may tell you and go to the dump site and dump the damned thing.

County health inspector will locate a septic tank. You can show proposed location, the inspector will usually work with you, however, it depends on drainage properties and slopes involved. His suggestions are usually very reliable, and you may have no choice.

This is something I'm sure the County regulates closely. I would in fact contact them right away. They can be pretty fussy sometimes.
They probably have an issue with them and have some sort of handling problems that are controlled through their own systems, see them.

Whatever way the city or county tells you to. If its going to be your home till you build one that's your situation. If your squatting (no pun intended) SOMEONE will call on you sooner or later. You could always just drive to the nearest RV dump every so often...
