I have a flag pole and rope installed and ready to go in my backyard, however I haven't got the slightest clue how to properly tie a flag to the rope for hoisting?? Can you guys help me

There should be clips on the rope that attach to the eyelets on the flag. If there are not, you should go to the nearest hardware store, buy two and tie them to the rope.

The plastic/nylon clips that came with my flag pole deteriorated in a couple of years. Now I tie on D rings-- yes, like the key chains-- works great! I hang a state flag, too and the other clips were very hard to connect two flags.

You need to have clips tied onto the rope spaced the proper distance apart depending on how big the flag is.Clip the flag onto the rope.

you will need clips on the rope flag allready has holes in it one the top and one at the bottom
