My drip pan in the attic is full and is dripping down the pipe that runs into the garage. I just moved into this house a couple days ago and noticed that someone turned my AC down to 60. Most likely my Dad when he was hot one night. It was on 60 for at least 2 days. I just noticed the water today. What is the possible problem? What do I do? How much will it cost?

The pan you are referring to is the secondary drain pan that is under the A/C unit, it is there to catch water that could leak from the A/C unit and the drain from that pan usually is just stub out in the garage for when it drains water it brings to your attention that something is wrong with the A/C drain, so if the drip pan has water then you also have a clogged drain in the A/C unit so you will need to clear that drain, if you have a portable air tank you can blow the line clear and then take the access panel off and clean the dirt out of the drain pan, if its slimy then pour bleach in the pan to kill the growth.
Good Luck,
Bill

Sounds like your drain line from the drip pan is clogged, or partly clogged. You can try turning off the AC and then adding a little (1/4 cup) bleach to the pan. Sometimes that will cut the clog. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to call the AC man to blow it out for you (probably about $100). Once its clean and running properly, you can keep it clean by adding a bleach solution (1/4 cup bleach to a gallon of water) to the pan once a month.

If the problem becomes habitual, you may want to consider having a second, back-up drain installed.

well u got some good posts. basically u have to find a way to clean the clog out of the drain pipe. it may be as simple as going into the attic with a coat hanger or going to the end of the pipe and using a wet dry vac, sucking out the clog. be sure to clean your drip pan of gunk and bleach it out.

There is alge in your drain line.
If you look at your pan you will find a pipe that runs down to the ground.
Get some compressed air and blow out the pipe.

To keep the pipe clean dump a little bleach on the pipe to kill the alge.

empty the pan and turn up the a/c. put several sponges in the pan. They will absorb more than the pan can hold
