I asked this question a few months back and the most popular answer was to put an ice cube in the indent overnight and it would be fixed the next day. I have tried that over and over again and it's not doing anything. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks.

Rake the carpet (a fork should work) as stated. Vacuum across the spot to raise the nap. Get some caster cups at hardware store to spread the force. Consider new carpet as it should spring back after a couple of days at most.

try to iron it out. put a towel over the area and set the iron on steam and go over it a couple of times. If that doesn't work call any furniture company and see if they might have any ideas. Good luck!

I use my iron and a damp towel to steam it up, followed by a fork.
