I have a blue painted room, little darker than Sky blue. (btw navy blue and sky blue i should say, more towards skyblue than navy blue). I have a very nice sheet set thats totally white. I am wondering what color comforter set I should go with? Originally I thought I should buy Navy blue to contrast nicely with White sheet set, but I am afraid that it might not have that good contrast with room. But I might be wrong...
Also my bed frame is lighter shade brown (light Oakwood).
Any suggestion ideas? thanks

The bedroom has dark gray carpet, mirrored closet doors with a white trim. A door which open into this room is a light green with white trim. I was thinking of a light blue ceiling (harbor haze) with beige walls and white trim.

Ideally it would have it's own room, just off the living room and the shower room would back on to it so you can watch Mr Pingu swim while you wash.

I have a house. I have a lot of books and need an extra room / library. My back yard is big. My office room has a window to the back yard.

Is it possible to put a door there and extend the house with an extra room?

How much would a room cost, as big as a 2 or 3 car garage?

What kind of company should I search in the yellow pages?

I need ideas to display photos of my children. I have lots of 8x10's and 5x7's all over the walls of a small house. I don't want to put some of the older ones away yet so i am looking for some ideas to display them maybe frames that hold more than one picture. you can find frames all day long that hold several 3x5's of 4x6's but not any larger pics. I need some ideas please!!!

a guy at work lays carpet as a side thing and will be doing my 12 x 17 living room, a small hallway and stairs with a 90 degree turn. The floor and stairs are prepped, carpet and pad are there . He will use his tools and is bringing tack strip he had left over. The place is out of town, I will help him and also buy his food. Any idea what I should pay or offer?

it's a sliding glass back patio door. they (women in the family) already picked out one, but it looks to be really long drapes that part in the middle and you can move by hand. i don't like it as it sticks out slightly too far from the glass and can let cold air come in through the sides. it also makes our family room look like it has a giant window. does anyone have any good recommendation for good, stylish type curtains for a back patio? any help is appreciated. store recommendations or links with pics and good price is also a great help =D

We recently had our kitchen designed at Home Depot--cabinets, countertops, etc. Now I'm hearing their merchandise is of a lower quality. My question is this--if I'm actually getting my cabinets, etc from another manufacturer (say, Kraftmaid) but buying them through HD, how can their merchandise be lower quality? Besides, I'm sure the manfacturer is the one that backs their products, not Home Depot.
Has anyone heard of this? What has your experience been with HD as far as kitchen materials?

P.S.--HD will NOT be installing them.
