I have limited space in my living room, but i want to rearrange it. I have one physical corner in the room, two cable jacks on either side of the room, one huge window and a bunch of furniture. Can I put either the tv or the computer in front of the window? or should i put my couch there?

I am trying to find a dealers that deals in antique coffee percolators. This is a Maxwell House percolator that has been dated back in the early 1920's. It is in excellent condition and has the original coffee still encased with in the percolator and none of the seals have been broken. All of the tags are not yellowed or torn. There are no cracks or chips in the percolator. Any more information or any dealers interested will be appreciated.

My little sister drew on my walls that I painted a couple days ago. the paint is dry. she drew with a pencil. We tried erasing it with an eraser. Some of it came off and some didn't. We used windex on the stuff that didn't completly come out and it took off some of it. What should we use to get the other stuff off?

Basically looking for the do's and don'ts of installation. Does the subfloor need to be perfectly level? Do you need a foam membrane underneath it? It's not the cheap stuff it's solid oak i believe. Do you need to nail it to the plywood subfloor? Do you need to glue then together at the beveled edges? I'm pretty sure it's not a floating floor it's about a half inch thick with beveled edges they dont snap together though if that helps. What about the stagger of the floor boards i notice they're not all the same length & some have different grain. Would this job be better left to a professional rather then a do it yourselfer? Can a do it yourselfer pull this off with some luck or would it just be a waste of time & wood flooring to attempt it without experience?

I bought 4 large double-hung vinyl frame windows at a garage sale for next to nothing but they are too large to install in the space intended in the traditional manner. Can I turn them on their sides and still have them function properly? They are intended for a breeseway/patio room.

My husband and I are ready to start building our dream home. We are overseeing the basement construction, then we have a contractor lined up to take over construction from the ground up and manage the subcontractors. My husband tells me I need to prepare a Finish Schedule for every room showing the type of floor, the wall finish, electrical outlet placement, light fixtures, ("every little detail" to quote him ... and yes, I'm getting somewhat testy already!). I have searched online or a form or template but had no luck. Can anyone tell me if a form is available and where I might find one? As I understand, I'm supposed to post a copy of the form in each room to avoid mistakes. Thank you in advance for your help!

Part of my job involves writing product descriptions. What do you think of this description for a coffee table?

"This versatile coffee table features three drawers for storage and compliments many different types of décor.”
